I started Deep South Aquatics in the middle of 2022 as I was beginning to get more into the hobby of keeping fish for myself. I already had a koi pond that I had built a few years prior for my breeder koi, so I decided to open a Facebook page to sell what I could even though my koi hadn't yet begun to breed. At the time, I was also breeding aquarium fish, such as guppies and neon tetras, etc. In the long run, I'd like to breed and sell more fish, but until I can afford to transfer everything into a building, it's really only worthwhile to breed koi, goldfish, and other fish that will sell well.
